Background

Lindy is a Director and Head of KISCH IP’s Patent Renewals and Trade Mark Formalities Department, with more than 10 years’ experience in intellectual property (IP) specifically. Her practice covers all aspects of trade mark formalities, trade mark and patent renewals in all territories (worldwide) and notarial practice.

Lindy is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law (SAIIPL) and the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) Liaison Committee.

She has been involved in and spoken at a number of South African seminars and conferences on trade mark formalities in South Africa and Africa and has published in her field of expertise both locally and internationally.

Lindy obtained a BCom (Law) degree in 2004 and an LLB in 2005; she has been an attorney of the High Court of South Africa since 2007 and a qualified conveyancer and notary public since 2008.
