Fredo Ströh is a Director at KISCH IP with more than 12 years’ experience in intellectual property law. His practice covers the fields of patents, registered designs, plant breeders’ rights and trade marks, focusing particularly on prosecution of applications in these fields both locally and abroad.
Fredo further advises clients on both the management and enforcement of their IP portfolios, as well providing assistance on various commercial transactions relating to intellectual property.
Fredo is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the INTA Designs Committee. He is also a fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law (SAIIPL) and member of the Legal Practice Council (LPC).
He obtained a BSc Medical Sciences in 2004 and an LLB in 2008; he has been an attorney of the High Court of South Africa since 2009 and a qualified patent attorney since 2012. As a result of his extensive and broad range of experience and exposure to IP law and being one of only a handful of practitioners in South Africa who actively practices in both fields of patents and trade marks, he is able to provide a holistic IP approach and assistance to his clients.
