For Mandela Day 2024, we had the honor of visiting Manger Care Centre and donating much-needed groceries to support their ongoing efforts. During our visit, we were inspired to learn about the incredible work they do, not just for their local community but also for the surrounding areas in need. 

 

Their programs address a wide range of essential needs, including skills development. One initiative that stood out to us was their sustainable seedling project, where seeds are nurtured and sold as seedlings to generate income and promote self-sufficiency. Additionally, they have a large on-site bakery that produces freshly baked bread, providing food and income for the community. 

 

We were truly amazed by the vision and dedication of the Manger Care Centre and their impact on uplifting the community. It was a privilege to learn about all the ways they are making a difference, and we are proud to have contributed to their efforts on this meaningful day.
